Dada music over the years. This chronological list shows CDs and digital purchases over the years. Added some basic comments. You can get more details at the Dada (band) Wikipedia page. I continue to enjoy listening to this music. |

Puzzle 1992 |
The first album by Dada has great songs. Dizz Knee Land was the hit single on the album. |
American Highway Flower 1994 |
The second album is just as good as the first one. Gogo is my favorite song because it is so upbeat. |
El Subliminoso 1996 |
This was the final album released by I.R.S. Records before they folded. Sick in Santorini is a fun track which makes me bop my head. Listen to the lyrics on Bob the Dummer to appreciate the story. |
dada 1998 |
This self-titled album was released in 1998 by MCA Records. Unfortunately MCA Records went out of business soon after. It's too bad the band had issues with record companies. |
Napalm Springs 2001 |
Butterly Jones was a side project by Michael Gurley and Phil Leavitt after Dada broke up. I consider Napalm Springs a Dada album, since Michael and Phil were 2/3rds of the band. The sound is similar to other Dada albums. |
Live: Official Bootleg 2003 |
2003 saw the return of dada. They began playing live shows and recorded one of them in Santa Ana, CA. I'm not usually a fan of live albums. This has some good songs, but prefer studio versions. |
How To Be Found 2004 |
This was not a "new" album. It was a compilation of leftover songs from the 1998 album. Check out crumble and any day the wind blows. |
Bonus tracks 2004 |
The first three Dada CDs were re-released in 2004, each contained bonus tracks. Decided to lump those songs into a "Bonus tracks" CD. Their version of California Dreamin' is different than the original. |
A Friend of Pat Robertson 2006 |
This EP was self-released in 2006. There were some additional session tracks. Don't often listen to these songs but they are fine.

Singles 2017 |
These were two singles released in 2017 without an album. |
US Tour 2024 |
Tour: Return to Dizz Knee Land (2024) Click for details at dadaforever.com site. Saw the band play at City Winery. (set list) The concert was okay. Was hoping for more songs, less solos. |
